“Ask, and it shall be given to you, seek, and you shall find, knock, and it shall be opened to you.”
Ask, seek, knock
God knows all of our needs. But that doesn’t mean we should just sit back and do nothing. Jesus taught us that it is important to communicate with God through prayer. And we need to talk to God about our needs in our prayers. Jesus used action words such as “ask”, “seek”, and “knock” when describing how we should pray. We should actively seek to talk with God.
It will be given, you will find, and it will be opened
God is not someone who is far away from us, and doesn’t understand each one of us. God listens to each one of our prayers, and answers them. If we need something, God will give it to us. If we are looking for an answer, God will help us find it. If we are looking for a new opportunity, God will open the door to it. Let’s think about these things as we pray to God today.
